Website migration to a modern stack
a move without losing SEO or sales
We move businesses off WordPress, Tilda, Flexbe and other site builders onto Next.js, React and Laravel. We keep your URL structure, metadata and search rankings — the site stays live and keeps taking enquiries while the move is underway.
What we move from — and to
We work with the popular CMSs and site builders. Knowing their limits up front helps us move a site without surprises or lost data.
- WordPress — when the site has grown a pile of plugins and become slow and hard to maintain.
- Tilda — when you've hit the block limits and want a full site without a subscription fee.
- Flexbe — when you've outgrown the landing builder and need control over the code and data.
- Wix, Bitrix and other builders — when the platform dictates what you can and can't do.
- An old custom-built site — when no one has maintained it for years and it's scary to touch.
- Next.js and React — a fast interface and SEO-friendly architecture out of the box.
- Laravel — a reliable backend, your own admin panel and full control over your data.
- Your domain and your database — the site becomes your asset, with no platform lock-in.
What you get after the move
Migration isn't about technology for its own sake. The point is speed, preserved traffic and the freedom to grow the site the way your business needs.
How the migration goes
We work remotely and reply within one business day. The old site keeps running until the new one is ready and verified — the switch happens at a controlled moment.
How we preserve rankings during the move
Losing traffic is the main risk of any migration. We take it seriously and cover every point that usually makes sites drop after a move.
- We keep the URL structure, or set up 301 redirects from old addresses to new ones — one to one.
- We carry over titles, descriptions, headings and image alt text without losses.
- We update sitemap.xml and robots.txt and preserve canonical addresses.
- We move the structured data so your search snippets stay in place.
- We compare speed and Core Web Vitals before and after — the move should make the site faster, not slower.
- After the switch we check indexing in Search Console and keep an eye on rankings.
Small fluctuations in the first weeks after a move are normal for any migration. We don't promise higher rankings, but we do everything to make the move happen without noticeable losses.
When migration is worth it — and when it isn't
A move isn't always needed — sometimes it's easier to leave the site as it is. Here's how to tell whether the move will actually pay off.
- A builder-based site that's slow or has hit the platform's limits.
- A growing subscription fee for the builder and less and less control over the site.
- A need for functionality your current platform simply doesn't offer.
- A site that brings traffic and leads — and matters enough to grow further, not rebuild from scratch.
- A simple two-page business-card site, and it fully works for you.
- A need for a quick temporary landing page for a promo — that's a separate task.
- A site launched recently that hasn't built up traffic or data to migrate yet.
We moved a recipes site from WordPress to Laravel 11 and React. The server now responds in about half a second, and a clear admin panel and structure replaced the plugin zoo. The project is already in production — you can see how it works.
What affects the price and timeline
We give an exact price and timeline after auditing the current site — free and with no commitment. Here's what the estimate depends on.
- Site size: how many pages, products and how much data need to move.
- Structure complexity: how tangled the current categories, URLs and links between pages are.
- Design: whether we keep the current look or refresh it during the move.
- Integrations: CRM, payments, delivery and external services to move or reconnect.
- Redirect volume: how many old addresses need to be carefully redirected to new ones.
For reference: moving a mid-sized site takes about a month — from audit to launch. Tell us where your site is now and we'll give an honest estimate for your project.
Questions about website migration
Won't my rankings and traffic drop after the move?
That's the main risk, and we handle it separately: we keep URLs or set up 301 redirects, carry over metadata and markup, and check indexing after launch. Small fluctuations in the first weeks are possible, but with a careful move your search traffic stays with you.
Will the site be down during the move?
No. The old site keeps running and taking enquiries — we build and check the new one on a staging domain. The switch happens at a quiet time and takes a few minutes, with no downtime.
Will my page addresses and links be kept?
Yes. Where possible we keep the URL structure as it is. Where addresses change, we set up 301 redirects from old to new — so neither search traffic nor external links are lost.
Can the site be moved while keeping its current design?
Yes. We keep the look your visitors are used to, or refresh it carefully — whichever suits you. We agree on this before the work starts.
What happens to products, forms and integrations?
We move the catalog, forms and connected services. If something can't be moved directly, we suggest an equivalent on the new stack and agree it with you in advance.
Will I be able to edit the site myself after the move?
Yes. On the new stack we build a clear admin panel around your needs. We agree on editing options in advance, and can take on support and improvements ourselves if you prefer.
